Aline Bouvy / The future of not working
Aline Bouvy (1974, Brussels) studied Fine Arts at école de recherche graphique école supérieure des arts (Erg) in Ixelles, a postgraduate at Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht and afterwards moved to Berlin and London. From 2000 to 2013 Aline Bouvy collaborated closely with artist John Gillis. She currently lives and works in Brussels. Recent solo exhibitions include Heavy Fuckry / I don’t need you to feed me, Billboard Series by Artlead, Gent (2016), Urine Mate, Albert Baronian Gallery (2016), Who will wear my teeth as amulets?, Motel, Brooklyn, NYC (2016), Sorry I slept with you dog, Exo Exo Paris (2015), and I’m not interested in humans these days, Le Salon, Brussels (2015). Recent duo and group exhibitions include Pale, Havoc, Maison Grégoire, Brussels (2017); Blue Plate Special, Dead Horse Bay, NYC (2016), and Highway raven, Diesel Project Space, Liège (2016).
Bouvy is represented by Albert Baronian Gallery in Brussels and by Nosbaum & Reding Gallery in Luxembourg.
